01The set

Two tools.
One engine.

Everything a battle-rope finisher and a jump-rope warm-up need, without forty feet of rope or a gym membership.

×2 in the set Pair of AROVIB cordless battle ropes: rubber grips, steel springs and weighted heads

Cordless battle ropes

All the waves. None of the rope.

A precision steel spring carries a weighted head through every wave, slam and circle. Your shoulders, arms and core do the work, without an anchor point or forty feet of floor.

02Why ropeless

01 / 04

A battle rope is forty feet of heavy.

Traditional ropes run 30 to 50 feet, weigh 20 lb or more, and need a solid anchor. Most homes don't have the room.

02 / 04

So we coiled it into steel.

A stiff steel spring and a weighted head give your arms the same fast, rhythmic load. The coil flexes with every pump and springs straight back.

03 / 04

No anchor. No slap.

Nothing to tie down and nothing hitting the floor. The steel core runs quietly, so a 6 a.m. session won't wake the building.

04 / 04

Then it fits in a drawer.

At 1.6 lb a head, the pair and the speed rope pack into one bag. Living room, hotel room or park, the session goes where you go.

03The speed rope

Light rope.
Fast hands.

The other half of the set: a 6.3 oz steel-cable speed rope on ball bearings, built for warm-ups, conditioning and double-unders.

150turns / min

≈ 100 jumps in a 40 s round

  1. 01

    Ball-bearing swivel

The cable turns on bearings inside each cap, so it spins fast and smooth while the handles stay still in your hands. No twisting, no tangles.

  2. 02

    Steel cable, PVC coat

A steel wire core keeps its arc at speed. The PVC coating is kind to floors and holds up to long sessions. 9.2 ft (280 cm) out of the box.

  3. 03

    Foam grips

Soft, ribbed foam that's non-slip and moisture-wicking, so your palms stay dry and your grip stays light.

  4. 04

    Sized to you

The cable adjusts at the handle and trims to length, from kids to tall adults. Find your number below.

8′ 9″266 cm

Trim about 14 cm (6″) off the 9.2 ft cable.

Check it: stand on the middle of the cable. The handles should reach your armpits. Beginners add 3 ft to their height, advanced jumpers about 2 ft.

04Anatomy

Every part earns its place.

The cordless battle ropes with their parts marked
  1. Loops over your wrist, so a sweaty grip never sends a head across the room.

  2. Ergonomic rubber shaped to the palm. Sweat-absorbing and non-slip, so you can hold on through the last ten seconds.

  3. Handle and spring screw together and stay tight. No wobble, and no loosening halfway through a set.

  4. A stiff precision-steel coil. It flexes in one smooth arc as you pump and springs straight back, quietly, every rep.

  5. The load sits at the end of the spring, so every pump has to move it. Each complete rope weighs 1.6 lb.

05Moves

They train the same pattern: fast alternating and slamming arm drives against a moving load. The load is a 1.6 lb head on a steel spring instead of a 20 to 40 lb rope, which makes them ideal for conditioning, intervals and finishers. For maximum power work, a heavy gym rope still has the edge.

For the battle ropes, about an arm's reach around you. For the speed rope, a clear patch of floor and enough ceiling for the rope to pass over your head.

Stand on the middle of the cable. The handles should reach roughly to your armpits. Adjust the cable at the handle until it does, lock it, and trim any extra.

The battle ropes never touch the floor, and the steel core is quiet. Jumping rope is only as loud as your landings, so a mat helps if you have neighbors below.

Yes. Start with 20 seconds of work and 40 seconds of rest, then build toward the 40 / 20 rhythm of the 12-minute Stampede. The included poster walks you through form.

The battle ropes load your shoulders, arms, chest, back and core. The speed rope works calves, footwork and conditioning. Together they cover a full-body session.
